Scavs earn scav xp not pmc xp. To level your pmc you have to do pmc runs. You don't get PMC XP from Scav runs. Tarkov tends to hit new players hard and fast on their first 20 or so Raids. While Scavs are a great learning tool and utility for gaining finances in Tarkov, they shouldn't be a measure for your skill in fights or the only character you play while experiencing Tarkov. Raiders will usually warn you and then eventually attack you if you don't go away. Unless a player scav has already attacked them, then they KoS as far as I know.
