Today I watched a video on You Tube where and individual claimed they can cause the frame to crack due to the weight and lack of flexibility to move with the gun. As you can see on mine the G43 is stamped 33730 and the 43X/48 is stamped 33730-1. Glock evidently has changed the number that is stamped into the 43X/48 slide stop, The latest parts order form states the following for the 43X/48: Slide Stop Lever & Spring 02 - fits 9mm G43X,G48 only - marked 47876. I prefer the slick "frying pan" type finish on my Glocks from a few years ago, but lots of people like the less slick finish. G34, G17, G19, G26, G43, G23, G27 ...G43 feeding problem solved. My G43 would at times not feed ammo into the chamber. The ammo would just nose dive into the feedramp, it only occurred with defensive ammo. So I sent my 3 G43 magazines stamped 01 back to Glock. Adding my experience. Two Glock 43x. Glock store extended controls and mag release. Two S15 mags. Based on the 'bumps' photo above I guess mine are Gen 2. Both magazines in both Glock's have the same failures. 1. Failure to feed on slide release. 2. Failure to eject round one. Not quite a stove pipe, just stuck horizontally.
