Using an LG 27GL850 where the MacBook 16" is connected via HDMI I can only get up to 100hz without disabling VRR on the monitor's OSD. The problem is that I'm using the same monitor for PC gaming so it's a bit of a hassle to switch the OSD option on and off every time. I don't have an option to disable VRR in MacOS display preferences.
