I took my fx to dealer for maintenance and mentioned this problem. I didn't ask how they checked it, but they said fuel goes all the way up. That said, they told me that there was a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) for an ECU re-flash on 2009 models, but it only involved correcting a recognized problem with abrupt and rough DOWNSHIFTING of the AT. Infiniti has since corrected this DOWNSHIFTING problem with the 2010 FX35 AWD, and my vehicle's VIN # doesn't show up as needing this.2009 Infiniti FX35. In fact, I have not seen any consistent problems with the 2nd generation other than issues with the transmission shifting (cured by the reflash).
