This. My first build was like Frankenstein, but prettier on the outside, with the original P80 slide, barrel, frame and parts. The trigger was so shitty that at one point the pull was at like a nice 9 pounds till I polished and took material off the trigger housing, bar and rear locking block. Now it’s at like maybe 6 pounds if I’m lucky.
After building one of the P80 Bridge Frames after building a couple other brands as well as previous versions of P80's and a couple AR-15's. I can honestly say Polymer 80 has lost me as a customer. I confirmed the rear rail was the issue by replacing it with one that was working in another build. P80 replaced the rear rail and this solved the reset issue. However, the trigger pull was really really difficult, around 8-9 pounds and sometime I even needed to really exert to make it release the firing pin.
