We describe it as a resonant clanking noise. When i say resonant I mean it sounds like something making nouse inside of something hollow.We picked up a lightly used 2022 GC 4xe (~6500mi) for my wife in September of 2023 as a replacement for her 2013 Ford Edge with 200k mi. All was well for the first 3 months until just shy of 10k mi. Noticed a clicking noise when turning left at low speeds and the front USB ports functioned intermittently.Maybe a line was crimped. The Jeep was fine on road trips, climbing 8% grades without a hiccup. Now, it will overheat on a 25 mile trip in town. Update, my 4xe spent another three days in the shop.
